Interested in a moderate hike?
 
On Friday, February 9th starting at 9:00 AM, weather permitting, and leaving in carpools from the V at LLV Clubhouse. Please be aware if you are driving a pass will be required and there is a cost associated with getting into the park area. 
 
A group of V at LLV residents will be going on a hike to Owl Canyon. 
 
About Owl Canyon
 
The Owl Canyon hike starts out with a 70-foot (21-meter) descent along an unmaintained path near the
middle picnic shade structure. Use caution descending into the wash as the rocks are loose. Cross through the
broad colorful wash and follow a winding path to the left (west) as it climbs up and around a hillside that
leads to the mouth of Owl Canyon. A few hundred yards into the canyon, keep left at the fork. 
This hike is led by a resident of the V at LLV and is a voluntary activity not associated with the HOA. 
 
A hiking or walking stick for balancing up and down the hill to the Canyon is suggested. 
 
No RSVP is necessary, please be prompt so that everyone can begin the hike together.
